Update: Gen 2 Improvements

We are actively listening to your feedback! Our new Gen 2 remotes feature improved HomeLink compatibility. If you are still experiencing issues with a Gen 2 remote, please contact us for further assistance.

Universal compatibility with HomeLink systems is not guaranteed, as noted in our product description.

Recommendation: If your primary need is to program HomeLink, we recommend using an original (OEM) remote to perform the initial "handshake" with your car. OEM remotes offer the highest success rate for in-car programming.

When designing our remotes, we prioritized making the programming steps as simple as possible for the user. Unfortunately, this streamlined protocol sometimes conflicts with the complex signal requirements of in-car systems.

Actual compatibility depends on your garage door, your vehicle, and the programming method used.
